Job Tips: Interview Tips #1

I love being able to share the knowledge that I have gained through my own experiences. I also love to offer a variety of ways for people to get the information they need to move forward in their goals.

Recently I hosted Zoom workshops to watch and discuss career resources. We used a video to explore tips to crush a job interview. Check out my Padlet to watch or read below for a summary!

Before, during, and after the interview, behavior can impress employers!

1) Before the interview:

a) send a message to potential employer about excitement about the company

2) During the interview:

a) showcase the thorough research of the company

b) Don't oversell yourself!

3) After the interview: Send a thank you note:

"Thank you so much. I really enjoyed our time together. I am the person you want. I can see myself bring a lot of value to the company. I hope I get another chance to meet with you again for a second interview. Regardless, I wish you all the best."
