Success Story — Byron

My client Byron went from being a teacher to a Principal. He has shared some of the ways my career coaching sessions helped him:

*Sharing a mindset of envisioning higher positions on career path, (i.e. future Superintendent)

* Planting seeds of data (i.e. certain districts have few schools to manage as a Superintendent) and recognizing potential opportunities that may not have been on my radar

* Intermittently checking in on current occupation and goals—encouraging growth!

*People of color don’t often see themselves in such positions or have experienced little encouragement—it’s so powerful when marginalized folks support one another and experience the positive power or alliances—AND representation matters!
